Network is interconnection between things for purpose of sharing. Why we use network:
· Discovery:
Networks help you to discover new things you can search in internet by:
1. Search engine and metasearch engine
2. Portal: there are several type of portals (commercial, affinity, corporate and industry wide).
· Communication:
Networks enhance communication. There are many type of communication:
1. Electronic mail.
2. Web based Call center.
3. Electronic chat rooms.
4. Voice communication which also called (internet telephony).
5. Unified communication which is a package of communication tools.
· Collaboration:
Is use of network to work together in order to accomplish certain task.

In Web 1.0 the websites are created by owners users can only read the content they cannot add content. But in Web 2.0 user become able to create its own content not only reading it.
