What is electronic payment??

Electronic payments are any kind of non-cash payment that doesn't involve a paper check. Electronic payment are also payments that are made directly to payee from the bank accounts using security features over the Internet to process the transactions. it starts with an arrangement the users make with their financial institutions to have funds withdrawn from their account and sent to a payee. By using electronic payment users will also be able to set up electronic bill payments through their financial software so when users enter a payment in the software, the transaction goes through and the bill is paid in the amount and on the date users specify. Using electronic payment is very convenient. Users do not have to write check, swipe a credit card or handle or handle any paper money they only have to do is enter some information into their Web browser and click the mouse.

There are three main types of transactions on electronic payment:

·         one-time customer-to-vendor payment

is commonly used when you shop online at an e-commerce site such as Amazon

·         recurring customer-to-vendor payment

pay a bill through a regularly scheduled direct debit from your checking account or an automatic charge to your credit card. Some long-term contracts require this type of automated payment schedule like those at gyms or fitness centers.

·         automatic bank-to-vendor payment

your bank must offer a service called online bill pay. You log on to your bank's Web site, enter the vendor's information and authorize your bank to electronically transfer money from your account to pay your bill. In most cases, you can choose whether to do this manually for each billing cycle or have your bills automatically paid on the same day each month.

So, using electronic payment is more convenient easy and it also saves the time of users

WhatsApp

WhatsApp is different from SMS. By using WhatsApp You can exchange massages, send image, video and audio media massages without paying because it uses internet data plan. It is a cross platform mobile massaging app an application for smartphones. This application is available for BlackBerry OS, Android, Symbian, Series 40 and Windows Phone. The company was founded in California in 2009. WhatsApp create a user account by using phone number as username. By using this application you can enjoy multimedia massages (text, send image, video and audio media). Also users do not need to add new separate book for contacts list they can contact with users who registered with their phone number because WhatsApp synchronizes with the phone's address book. In addition, users can create groups to chat with each other. There are other competing massages service for example LINE and KakaoTalk. In August 2012, WhatsApp handles ten billion messages per day.

Designing the database

Designing the database

Data is description of things, activities and transaction with no contacts and no actual meaning. Without technology it's very hard to manage the data because:

·         Data are increased exponentially

·         Data are scattered

·         Data come from different sources (internal, external and personal)

So, organizations use database approach to organize and manage the data by putting them into tables. Database approach is a collection of tables which describe something. These tables must be interacting with each other.

  

There is no one single database for the entire organization. Organizations use many database and usually each database serve a specific purpose.

Before designing the database organization should understand the business. Then they analyse the system and design data base by following some steps:

1.      Choose the business.

2.      List the most important objects of the business which are needed to be successful.

3.      From all objects select objects which we can describe in a table.

4.      Find out the relationship between them which reflect an important process inside the business and what kind of relationship (1:1 , 1:M , M:M).

5.      Draw an entity relationship diagram.

6.      Take every table and define the column (attributes) every field should start with the table name.

7.      Define the primary key (field that uniquely identifies the record and cannot be repeated) if there is no primary key we create one.

8.      Implement the relationship. ( 1:1 no need to do anything , 1:M copy the primary key from one side to many side as an extra field this field cold foreign key used to implement the relationship, M:M create new table ,take both primary keys and put them in to new table then  add columns if its needed and then define the primary key '' some time the primary key can be combination of many columns or you can create new one'') .

9.      Update the entity relationship diagram.
